Disaster

On October 9, 2017 my family's world became a literal dumpster fire. The Tubb's Fire, the most destructive wildfire in California history, swallowed my parents' new home in Santa Rosa. We lost everything.

The past couple months have been hard for everyone. My parents, my brother, and I are all safe. Just devastated.

Everyone's adjusting to this new abnormal, and my parents are looking for a new house to move into instead of rebuilding on this land.

Not exactly farm related, but I felt compelled to share since this is such a big part of my life right now and my parents' and their property were such a big inspiration for me and grew my desire to farm in the first place.
